By default each take is saved to Photos as soon as you finish recording. A copy stays in the app so retakes of the same topic stay grouped for comparison. You can turn off saving to Photos in Settings > Recording.
Does the countdown appear in the video?
No. The countdown and the script are on your screen only. The saved file contains just the camera image and the sound.
Recording does not stop at my target length.
When the device is low on free space, iOS can end a recording early. Check your free space and try again. If a call comes in mid-take, everything recorded up to that point is still saved.
Voice following is not working.
It uses on-device speech recognition, so it does not run on every language or device. When it cannot run, the app tells you why. Turn it off in Settings > Recording and tap the screen to advance the script instead.
The AI script does not match my target length.
Tap the re-time button to rewrite the current script so it fits. The app measures how fast you actually speak as you record, so the fit gets closer after a few takes.
What can I do without paying?
Recording, the automatic stop at your target length, the length presets, all four countdown displays, the karaoke-style script, pasting a script in and saving to Photos stay available with no time limit. There is no cap on how many takes you record or how long they are, and no watermark.
What does Pro add?
Writing and re-timing scripts with AI with no monthly cap, voice following, broadcast-style scrolling and the one-line view, importing scripts from files and URLs, mirrored script, and notes and a best mark on your takes.
How do I cancel?
Open Settings > your name > Subscriptions on your device. Pro features stay available until the end of the period you already paid for, and nothing you have written or recorded is deleted.
I changed phones and Pro is gone.
Open Settings > Subscription in the app and tap Restore purchases. You need to be signed in with the same Apple ID you bought with.
When I use AI, do you receive my video?
No. The only thing sent is the text of your topic or script. The camera image and the audio never leave the app.
